    Hello,
Love your birds. I am retiring soon from the fire dept. I have returned to my old hobby of keeping and raising birds. I would be interested in purchasing rare colors, rainbows, violets or crested or tuffed birds. Do you have any of these available?
    thanks

My family raised parakeets many years ago and ended up with 5 white parakeet babies. We sold three and kept the other two. We enjoyed them for many years. One of these two endured a rare happening: his feet dried up and literally fell off. This little parakeet learned to climb the bars and balance on the high perch with only stubs at the end of his legs. It was really quite remarkable. Do you know why this may have happened and/or what it is called?
