Cute funny Greyhound dog - I haven’t chewed a shoe, messed the carpeting, . How is it I can’t sit here, yet the baby can spit up, toss his food and crap his pants and still have a place at this dinner table

I haven’t chewed a shoe in three years, messed the carpeting in four, and I shed only when outside. How is it I can’t sit here, yet the baby can spit up, toss his food and crap his pants and still have a place at this dinner table?
